Project introduction: The project is located in Kenli District, Dongying City, Shandong Province. It plans to build an 80MW/160MWh centralized energy storage system, using Fujian Judian’s large-capacity solid-state polymer iron phosphate carp battery as the energy storage medium. The energy storage system consists of 32 sets of 2.5MW (5MWh) energy storage units, each of which contains 2 2.5MWh energy storage battery cabins and 1 2.5MW variable current boost cabin. The project was connected to the grid and put into operation in December 2022.
The project makes full use of saline-alkali tidal flats, cleverly combines photovoltaics, fishery farming, and energy storage to create a kilowatt-level wind, solar, and energy storage integrated project on saline-alkali tidal flats, achieving the parallel development of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin. The supporting energy storage system adopts new energy storage technology, with flexible and fast power adjustment, which can effectively smooth out the fluctuation characteristics of photovoltaic power generation, alleviate the peak load pressure of the power grid, and ensure the quality of power supply and the safety of power grid operation.
